Alliance Gaming Announces Acquisition of LSI Casino Management System Wednesday September 4, 1:16 pm ET
LAS VEGAS, Sept. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alliance Gaming Corp. (Nasdaq: ALLY -
News) today announced that its casino Bally Gaming and Systems business unit has acquired
the LSI casino Management System, including all rights to its source code and intellectual
properties.
One of the most widely installed computerized casino management systems in the gaming
industry, the LSI System was originally developed by Logical Solutions International,
which installed LSI or variations of the product in more than 75 casinos worldwide
The popularity of the casino LSI System is driven by its user-friendly design and market-driven design approach. LSI's capabilities include a very powerful system navigation utility, multi-property/multi-company support, personal/payroll check cashing and interfaces to the SDS®, ACSC and other online slot systems. LSI is also compliant with multi-jurisdictional regulatory standards.

The ACSC product group was purchased by Bally Gaming and Systems earlier this year and Bally Systems also markets the SDS slot accounting and monitoring system and casino Marketplace, a Microsoft NT®-based casino management system. Recognized as the industry leader with more than 210,000 game monitoring units and 195 casino customers worldwide, Bally Systems' product line offers slot machine cash monitoring, accounting, security and maintenance capabilities, enabling operators to accurately analyze performance and accountability.
